- I do a lot of exercises, walking, running, dancing and hiking.
- Communicate with my surviving children a lot. Very important*****
- Taking trips with my children and family.
- I give myself permission to express my Emotions, sometimes, sad, angry, guilt, fear, denials and crying.
- Reading about other families or mothers going through the same experiences.
- Meditations…Listening to music and most especially listening to the wants Cynthia loved.
- Thinking about the last vacation we took to Orlando Florida—Disney World
- Communicating with my children…families and friends by text messaging & WhatsApp etc..
- Writing, which is now my favorite hobby…this helps me to write down my feelings and thoughts of the day
- Attending support group…for grieving mothers
- Cooking helps me to concentrate, remember to eat, sometimes it’s difficult to think about food…
- Drinking plenty of water, this helps me to keep myself hydrated.
- Talking with other grieving parents
